So, it’s September, and it’s about time for Apple to give some of thier products a refresh, so that we empty our wallets, once again. It seems this years event may be focused on iPods. It’s rumoured that the iPod Nano will get an update with a longer, sleeker look, and bigger screen. We may also see a new iPod Touch; possibly different colours, using the iPhone 3G plastic back model.

As for Mac, I haven’t heard much, other than that there may be an aluminum MacBook.

There doesn’t seem to be any iPhone rumours floating around. Personally, I would love to here a 32GB iPhone announced, but I’ve been on about that for a while now! Will Steve address this issues with the less than stellar new firmware? Yet another update? We’ll see.

The biggest rumour has been the iTunes 8.0 will be released next week, on the day of the event. I found this tidbit at CNET.com: “Apple plans to introduce iTunes 8 at the same event. iTunes 8 includes Genius, which makes playlists from songs in your library that go great together. Genius also includes Genius sidebar, which recommends music from the iTunes Store that you don’t already have.”

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what Steve has up his sleeve. Will there be a “Oh, and one more thing…” where he unveils some incredible thing we weren’t expecting? We’ll have to tune in, to see.
