adobe_flash_8s600x600Our friend Gary over at iPhoneincanada.ca is reporting that during a Bloomberg Television interview, Adobe CEO, Shantanu Narayen, stated that Adobe and Apple are working together to bring Flash to the mobile version of Safari. Here’s a quote:

“It’s a hard technical challenge, and that’s part of the reason Apple and Adobe are collaborating,” Narayen told Bloomberg Television. “The ball is in our court. The onus is on us to deliver.”

Flash on the iPhone is something many iPhone owners have been griping about, ever since it’s initial release. Will we see Flash come to the iPhone via a firmware update, or will we have to wait for a hardware update, as well. Rumours are going around about a hardware update for the iPhone this summer, with faster processors and a memory increase. Maybe we’ll see Flash, along with some other missing components, like copy/paste and landscape SMS/Email. We’ll have to wait and see.
